$134 million to deploy the National Guard to LA.

$45 million for Trump’s birthday bash parade.

DOGE DEVOURS DOLLARS

ProPublica found, more than $39 million has been earmarked to DOGE in the Trump administration’s first month.

For perspective, in recent years Congress had allocated around $50 million a year for the IT modernization initiative that DOGE supplanted, budget records show.

Deportations are costly? Who knew?

One of the more brilliant minds of congress:

"At the end of the day, we've gotta just spend money," Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said in a brief interview at the White House. "Unfortunately the American taxpayers are going to have to pay the bill on this."

Totally coincidental, that whole DOGE cutting waste and Elon contracts…

The State Department's "procurement forecast for 2025, which details purchases the agency expects to make, includes $400 million for armored Tesla vehicles."

Repubs love ACA so…

So long and good luck…

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that if the enhanced ACA subsidies expire, 3.8 million people on average could become uninsured, and premiums could rise 7.9% on average, from 2026 to 2034.

These days laughs are rare. This one is good. I am going to use it over and over again.

What we actually have so far is Schrödinger’s trade war: Is it alive? Is it dead? Yes.

Thank you.

WHY DID TRUMP WIN?

The average reading level of most American adults is estimated to be around a 7th to 8th-grade level.

54% of U.S. adults aged 16-74 read below a 6th-grade level.

About 12% of American adults can read complex written materials.

I mean, what we’re seeing is what you’d expect if China and Russia had somehow managed to install people who wanted to sabotage America’s international position at the highest levels of the U.S. government.

MUSK DOGE PAY:

Nearly $7 million has been “apportioned” over the past week to cover the agency’s expenses, while the administration tries to freeze big chunks of government funding as part of DOGE’s mandate to root out programs deemed wasteful or out of step with the president’s priorities.

US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes. Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatened air traffic controllers with layoffs. Now there have been two fatal crashes.
