The first of our 20th anniversary events is coming up in a couple of weeks at Higashi-Koenji UFO Club on November 2nd. Post-punk music, indie DJs, and heaps of loud, rhythmically obtuse, discordant fun. A good friend once called it "stupid fucking childish noise" but we just call it pop.

I don't know who's in Tokyo this November and December, but our label is somehow 20 years old and we'll be celebrating with a colourful crowd of artists across three different events.

Fashion Crisis is our irregular Koenji music lab for musically inclined people to try stuff out or just do their thing, whether live or just spinning tunes that make them happy. This month we're delighted to welcome live guests David Thomas Broughton and Rob Noyes, plus guest DJs Sawari On and Kyo.

Our next party is nonstop fizzy, off-kilter punk trash:
- Grandma's Garden are on fire now.
- P-iPLE are in the thrashing throes of rebirth and this is an early chance to catch their refreshed lineup.
- DopeDobutu are a weaponised form of those mistakes that turn out to be exactly what you needed.
