WoW's previous expansion had a sidequest where you helped two gay centaur propose to each other and people are STILL ranting about it to this day.

I wouldn't rule it out entirely but iirc the "you should play Crystal Tower" was in the leadup to the actual expansion, not the leadup to a Stormblood patch.
