This is the Alberta my fellow British Columbians warned me about when I moved to this province over 20 years ago. I’m at least grateful it took this long to manifest. I’m going to focus on the @lukaszukab.bsky.social win to help me get through staying here awhile longer.

Interestingly enough, there is now a recount in Ward 12. CBC stating tonight that there were “sufficient rejected ballots… to affect the result of the election.”

So, we watched the poll clerk fill out the form and then put in a pile with others. Neither I nor my husband were asked to sign that form - does that mean our votes are invalid?! (36 minutes in line). @jlisayoung.bsky.social
