Brownstein basically said America will not survive Trump without a course correction. I agree completely, and its about time Americans start focusing on this bitter reality. I'm not sure America will survive 2026, especially if there is no economic improvement on Main Street.

You want to lead the people? Call for a General Strike and a 10M march on DC, not for useless impeachment. The time for political stunts has long since passed. Fear of martial law is appeasement.

Pursuing impeachment when conviction is never going to happen is just plain dumb. We've been down that road already, and exactly what did it accomplish? The Trump administration is invading Blue States and murdering their citizens. Republicans celebrate. We should be talking secession.

I don't sleep much any more, as I firmly believe civil war is now inevitable. The only question is when, but no doubt it will befall us before the 2028 election is scheduled to occur. History and common sense are clear. Fascists will never cede power and face the consequences of their evil actions.

Indeed. But we all need to acknowledge that there may not be a political solution to America's fascist takeover. Every decent American needs to do some soul searching and decide what sacrifices they are willing to make to preserve our democratic republic and to seek the light.

Dems need not make useless impeachment a focal point of midterms, but not calling out the evils of fascism when Americans are being murdered in the streets by their own government is a reprehensible and colossal mistake.
