I’ve considered myself a Hammer fan for a very long time, but had no idea about the amount and variety of movies that the studio produced. I‘m really enjoying the podcast, and discovering all of these great movies.
As for Captain Clegg. Excellent movie… yes, horror movie… not so much :)

Very entertaining, and an all around excellent flick, but I’m firmly in the not a horror movie camp.

This may have been the first Bond movie I saw as a kid (on broadcast TV) so I love it. But yeah, it’s not great.
AMC cars, Herve Villechaize, and a second appearance by Louisiana sheriff JW Pepper are not great foundational pieces.

I guess they were a little apey looking 🙂
Now just need to see Islands in the Stream and Pom Pom Girls and I’ll have had the full experience.

Revenge from Planet Ape is a new one to me. Viva Knievel, however, is a stone cold classic.

Their morals are already at zero. I’d love to see their morale hit negative numbers though.

It was the 80s, I was sitting in a washing machine with a steering wheel driving the streets of 1960s LA (as shown on a movie screen) I remember it well.

It sounds like the director stayed true to the source material 🙂

You could do a double feature of this with No Blade of Grass. That would make for a real feel good Friday.

One of my favorite Hammer movies. It’s cool to see Christopher Lee as the hero. Makes me wish that there had been more Duke de Richleau stories.

Rathbone. He’s the Holmes I saw first and the most often.

I thought that Shin Masked Rider was pretty entertaining too.
My daughter and I watched a lot of the original Ultraman and Kamen Rider a few years ago, so I’ve really enjoyed the “Shin“ movies.

I‘m the assistant editor for a dodgy Manchester tabloid newspaper.

Almost four decades, which doesn‘t make me feel old at all.

I think it was Craig Sheffer who lost his dipstick. Pretty sure James Spader was Pretty in Pink’s entitled asshole.

If only Guiron was in that lineup

I‘d like to see a reboot featuring Buckaroo Bonsai, where our hero battles evil with the careful shaping of attitudes and world events.

Unfortunately, what he probably thinks is that his being harassed and profiled is a bad thing. What he does to others is just business, so when he’s off duty it’s all good.

The real dynamic duo.

Picked this up today. Not as much as you deserve, but thanks for the heads up.

Crazy story if true (and it seems like its the case).
One seriously unwell individual responsible for so much misery.

What an excellent flick! André Morell is a truly charismatic antagonist.
