They already have aliases for that stuff. You can redirect "cboy" to a more descriptive term that isn't offensive to so many people. It would not be difficult to apply that to gender in general.

Believe me, I have plenty of issues with the site beyond just the tagging system, but it doesn't mean I don't see some value in what they're trying to do.. They just need to do better

It's certainly not an easy problem to solve but I feel like there's some value to a consistent tagging system for images... With that said, I have a multitude of issues with e621 as well.

They could just do *better* instead of just curating a giant spank bank.
