anyway first aid knowledge is not too expensive to get hold of in a 1 day course basis such as the emergency first aid at work course. It is really worth getting and retraining in. You will be amazed at what comes flooding back when needed.

A headscarf style bandage (see pic) can be used to keep a dressing plus pressure applied to a forehead wound. This means the casualty can keep speaking which can be key for keeping them calm and also getting more info out of them. This is something I have to practice.

There is no emergency treatment per se for a stroke. However it is still essential to do the FACT test and inform 999 that symptoms are consistent with a stroke because trained paramedics and A and E can prevent further harm with specialist care. They will respond with urgency.

Learning 1: the AED (defibrillator) pads MUST be applied to the top left and bottom right of the body. And the correct pad must go to the correct place. The body's electrical pulses go in a specific way and the AED needs the pads to be set up correctly to monitor what's happening.

Get a load of the "Turning the rising Green tide" panel at Labour conference. It features Thangam Debbonaire, who lost her seat fair and square to a Green candidate, and then received a seat in the Lords from Starmer as compensation. But evidently she's still rattled by her election loss lmao.

It's a hugely emotive subject, and so much more than just a different card system than to using a driving licence. It feels like a new gross Silicon valley powered way of managing us all like little peons, in which we will get nothing but be taxed and billed everything.
