Meeting Anna McNamee this week was a learning opportunity. Anna shared insights into the key elements of an award winning documentary, both video and audio.

Successful documentaries require a strong story, compelling characters, access, and respect for the people whose stories are being told.

Suggestions please: I’m looking for a place to take my beloved registered Pets As Therapy dogs Wilby and Foxy, ideally a centre supporting people with brain injury, or I’m open to suggestions…a place around Buckinghamshire or Oxford. Wilby and Foxy give so much…I just want to share this. ❤️‍🩹

On Saturday, I had the privilege of meeting this exceptional group. The Chevening orientation in London provided a unique platform to engage with scholars from around the globe who are pursuing their studies across the United Kingdom. This experience is truly life-changing.

Having grew up in one of Zimbabwe’s oldest ghettos, one thing set me apart from others. I had a dream.

Today I had an opportunity to share my story with my class - ‘Telling Real Stories Around the World.’ Thanks to @angelarobson.bsky.social for the opportunity.

I learn, unlearn and relearn
