One reason to go with the MDX4600 instead of the 2600 for a mastering use is that it’s 4 channel instead of 2. So you can chain one stereo pair into the other, distributing load when limiting during mastering.

New toy. Behring MDX4600. Need to properly dial it in, but I think this will do quite nicely as a mastering compressor. Can make it pump if I want to but pretty transparent overall.

Quite like it so far.
