I finally got to level two and drank from a fountain. Which of course summoned a water demon. After losing most of my health in one hit, I chanced it and read an unidentified scroll. It summoned a newt which bit me to death.

Thanks to @seanmccoy.bsky.social for the original concept. I‘m opting for 12 dungeons instead of one huge mega-dungeon, in the hope I might actually use a couple of em with my group, but the spirit of the challenge remains I think.
