Same. I’ve been on neighbourhood bikeways with reduced speeds and drivers still behave like idiots at every opportunity. We need a culture change more than anything.

You can ride faster than 30 unassisted. The law doesn't prevent you from that. It only prevents assisted speeds over 30. It's not illegal for me to pedal or coast down a hill faster than the assisted limit.

I'd like to see fire officials be required to come back with actual data from testing laboratories, like UL or W-H, to support their claims. To me, it seems they're just coming at this with feelings rather than data.

The full moon made this mornings commute pretty special. Then light riding through Stanley Park was amazing and the views riding across Lions Gate and Burred bridges were pretty spectacular. You don't get that experience in a car.

When I go someplace with little or no air pollution, I never need to use an inhaler. Seems to me that people with lung disease who use inhalers aren't the problem, just another symptom.

Seriously thinking that pickup truck and large SUV ownership should be contingent on a favourable psychological assessment to screen for sociopathic, narcissistic and psychopathic behaviour. Beyond tired of the aggressive behaviour of so many of the drivers of these ridiculous vehicles.
