I know of Dr. Letai from my time at DFCI - very capable clinical researcher (and lab members who were good microscopy core citizens) :)

We need a way to get publications that people have included data collected in our core! It's always so haphazard and like pulling teeth...They do tell you when you ask, but ask everyone and reminding them takes quite a bit of time. Hoping for some assistance after LIMS transition coming soon.

Looks like that movie has date stamp of 1986, but Shinya Inoue was working on polarized light imaging in 1960-70s: history.archives.mbl.edu/browse/exhib...
