Movie theatres should straight up refuse to play anything without a 45+ day exclusivity window.

There's a lot of hilariously stupid shit in Sons of Anarchy but my favourite is how it hand waves them funding terrorism lol.

Crave might be the worst streaming service for a million reasons but at least they remembered the hard coded subtitles for the Italian language bits in "The Godfather" unlike Netflix.

My favourite thing about "Scream" 's Horror movie "rules" is that 99% of them aren't actually true to the slasher genre. Just total nonsense.

So WB was already bleeding talent over their streaming strategy when it comes to major films and they think this Netflix buyout is a good idea? WBD board your move was to fire Zaslav when he floated this idea not this shit.

I know there's a lot of nostalgia for the movie, but I don't think there are many movies that missed the point of the source material more than 2000's "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

Free tip for reporters with an actual backbone, when Hegseth goes off on these insane rants your follow up question should be to ask how much he's had to drink today.

"The Relic" is still a fun monster flick with surprisingly solid FX for it's era and budget the cgi not the suit and whatnot. But I think ultimately it suffers from 90's era writing of characters needing quirks to be memorable and compared to the novel the narrative struggles without Pendergast.

I would encourage Republicans, ICE agent etc. to remember that "we were just following orders" didn't work as a defense last time and it wouldn't work a second time.

It's so funny re-watching the "Hannibal" series and hearing anyone call Jack Crawford clever, because like in the books? Sure he is. In the show? He's a raging fucking moron lol.

was enjoying "Novocaine" until the most obvious twist in the history of obvious twists came up and I was just checked out the rest of the film.

Discussing what you're going to score a movie on letterboxd after a movie instead of discussing the movie itself is super fucking cringe

Being a Nintendo YouTuber seems like it would be exhausting, you have to pretend to give a shit about every livestream even when you know it's going to be not worth talking about. Partner showcase, who cares? Same with Pokemon Directs, at this point we know they're not worth caring about.

I know every fan base has those type of fans but it always astounds me how seriously some people take the Paranormal Activity franchise, like you're arguing over a series that could be renamed "Nonsensical Plot Holes & People Sleeping."

On re-watch, yeah I stand by my feeling that Dr. Melfi was just a bad therapist.
June 26, 2025 at 6:11 AM
You know based on budget etc. both "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Thor" lost money like "Thunderbolts" did but I'll be damned if I don't remember any articles about that back in 2011. Weird right?

So in 2025 are we still pretending Metallica isn't a terrible live band or?

The problem with The Last of Us in both how the game and show is that, that is not how they would go about making a vaccine.

So how much do we think that cgi marionette music video David Fincher made for this season of "Love, Death and Robots" cost? 15 million?

The problem with 2 of the 4 masks in Halloween H20 is that Steve Miner was convinced the Michael Myers mask had painted eyebrows on it when in fact it does not.
