still amazed that this is my legacy
i didn't like the soft-reboot but i did like going to see this at the Universal CityWalk IMAX with my pals from work, imagining we might work on a Star War or something similarly budgeted but actually good as we progressed in our careers. the future was bright.
ok thanks for reading my blog
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS was released on this day 10 years ago

that was 20 years ago

America, you have spoken loud and clear: You do not like AI. But what if AI is the way to restart the world’s idea machine?
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?

i have nothing to back this up and i know it's probably just the milieu of '90s animation writ large but something about this sakuga makes me want to bet 5 billion dollars that it's the same animator(s) behind this scene from Disney's® Gargoyles™

i know we're all having fun ganging up on this kid, on a platform he doesn't look at. but may i suggest:
we can save this one, and many more like him. we just have to let him in. but it requires less dogpiling, and more gay shit like "forgiveness" and "acceptance".

we must become the trans café.

i lament the loss of our ancient culture.
on the other hand, sites like this contributed to the CinemaSins-ification of media discourse, leading directly to the soulless corpo-slop of the 2010s, which was a significant factor in the collapse of movies etc. that we are living through now.
TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea
