I couldn't imagine a better way to conclude my phd journey in the #Biofabrication family than this.
I am grateful to the ISBF for granting me the IOP Best Poster Award at #Biofabrication2025.

This study explores the fabrication of nanofibrillar scaffolds through the melt electrofibrillation of polycaprolactone to guide myogenic differentiation. The scaffolds provide nanofibrillar cues that promote cell organization and integration, mimicking key features of the ECM

we are back from a very successful retreat!
great opportunity for networking, team building and think of the future.
the main topic we addressed were the rise of AI, data management, career options and a refresher on FMZ values at the chair. but also lots of fun and good food!

we fine tuned an artificial membrane to replicate the glomerular filtration barrier and support the co-culture of endothelial cells and podocytes. To further enhance maturity we 3d printed a bioreactor to add flow to the artificial barrier.
