@discontinuedfoods.bsky.social I vaguely recall, in the 1970s, that Oscar Meyer produced a brand of kosher hotdogs with a brand name like "Mechiah". I saw them in Syracuse (NY). I don't know if it was just a test-market thing or a real product. Web searches find nothing. Does anybody remember??

I've been getting notifications of replies that contain no context, so I can't figure out what they're replies to. If I click on them, I get a new display that looks like it SHOULD be a discussion thread, but it contains nothing but the reply. I reported the bug to BS, and got a boilerplate...

Bluesky refuses to acknowledge any bugs reported. [They're as bad as Facebook.] The boilerplate responses are pure bullshit. [Clear your cache. Restart browser. Reboot O/S. -At least, they haven't pulled the "reinstall O/S" bullshit - yet.] I moved all email responses to SPAM. Useless.

Post seems to "discontinue" Bran Flakes every so often. When they disappeared in 2020, I contacted Post. They said something to the effect of they screwed up their manufacturing and distribution system, and had none to sell. They disappeared again this year.
