There is absolutely no reason for these restrictions. few people choose to park in those roads and then walk the quite considerable distance to the hospital. Probably most of them would be staff ( I can’t think of a worse thing than making it costly or impossible for nhs staff to get to work).

I have just driven down the dozens of roads near the JR that are now permit only between 9 and 5. Miles and miles of empty space where cars could be parked and before they put up these restrictions it was just the same.
