pisses me off that this is possibly THE largest instance of mass e-waste in history, and Microsoft having no real phase-out plan for those who can't make the switch just proves that they don't care at all
The result of this is that millions upon millions of computers will become e-waste. Some may be recycled, but that implies knowledge of proper disposal, and proper handling after the fact. All of this because M$ wants more of your data. It will be an ecological disaster.
