Similar story with far right candidates in other constituencies, they seem to be more anti establishment votes than principled ones.

In Waterford they wound up as much anti establishment as right wing, lots of transfers independent without any regard for the politics of those independents, nothing much to FG or the greens and a little to everyone else. In Dún Laoghaire Aontú transfers went to everyone but FFG, and mostly PBP.

Might want to recheck your math! It's impossible for more than 3 candidates to exceed that quota: valid votes/quota = 3.999. The Ceann Comhairle does affect the quota or it would be 8587.

FG can get fucked, but you're bemoaning a party who got similar first preferences to SF and only 4ish% over the combined weight of VLTL. All this in a context where what it sounds like you want, radical systemic change, is directly opposed to liberal democratic tactics.

Our centre right are in line with Labour in the UK or the Democrats in the US precisely because our left wing keeps them in check. The European shift further right has not materialised here at all. I can say all of this without even mentioning SF, who's support tripled in a decade.

You're spending too much time online. Exit polls suggest Lab/SD/PBP/Green > 17% first preference. Aontú/II are under 6%. Neither group are the most left or right politics goes but those further from centre are getting so few votes it's not worth distinguishing.

The arse has fallen out of the far right where in most constituencies the sum of left votes is sufficient for a seat, vote left transfer left appears to have worked where it was targeted meaning broader more consistent messaging in the next election could succeed. Not sure what you're looking at...

It's Gavin Pepper, never been less surprised

What is this based on?

To be fair that's a premium product, generic vegan mince is much cheaper, €6 per kilo frozen or €2.50 dried.

The paper itself is just citing another study, which specifically looked at twitter during the 2016 US election cycle, seems disingenuous of the author to suggest it applies to all social media: www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
Fake news on Twitter during the 2016 U.S. presidential election
A small proportion of voters share and are exposed to the majority of online fake news.

Monstrous Regiment is fantastic, I have gotten so many friends into discworld by sharing it, it stands alone very well and it's oddly queer.
