I play a Hunter in World of Warcraft, and I do exploiting and OoB content when not progressing or doing main story content. Also, I collect Hunter pets in WoW!

That lynx needs to be given a baby model. The troll kids having a kitten would be much more endearing.

Time for another crappy doodle. My biggest wish for #WorldofWarcraft #Midnight is this; making it so beast lore shows baby versions of beasts as tameable, and tells you to find an adult to actually tame. It'd be so very immersive.

Also, fun thing worth noting; pangos have a sleeping animation, yet scalehides do NOT have the "Rest" ability for hunters to be able to make their scaly bois sleep. THIS IS CRIMINAL! Our wonderful lurking pet dev should totally give every pet the "Rest" ability!
campaigner.bsky.social
Now we just need armadillos as scalehides to really make it funny. It wouldn't be the first critter model we've tamed (cough cough silk worms).

They're so TINY, I love it. Please dear god let them stay that small when they come to live... Also, purple one is rocking the colors. Totally grabbing one of those.

Worth noting is that the devilsaptors (tyrannosaptors ingame) is that they have updated animations; they use the same animations as the Flarendo mount!

I just need to know how to get Florafaun as fast as possible, because that's my goal from early release day one. I will become the sweatiest pig of a player to get my plant hydra. I will leave a glorious butt imprint in my chair that future archaeologists will ponder over, just for a mandragora.
campaigner.bsky.social
Hydras can be used by Survival and Marksmanship too! Though, BM gets to have TWO awesome pets at one time, so clearly BM is the superior spec!

Will I have an adorable alcoholic demon-slaying shi-tzu secretary that will help me live in the neighborhood too? If not, that's fine. Living in a private neighborhood with my friends on day 1!
campaigner.bsky.social
All I want is for animations to be faster and battles to end quicker. Some of the more offensive animations and waiting come from things like Boneshard's Blistering Cold or those pets who do AoE damage by hitting each individual pet separately.

There's apparently a fat cat in #WorldofWarcraft #Midnight #Alpha called Lord Viscera. I've watched some people stream, but nobody stops to appreciate small NPCs. Please, someone find him on the alpha and see if he can be pet. This is very much important!
campaigner.bsky.social
Makes me happy too, since I much prefer the Eversong lynx. It was the first pet I really wanted, and I ran a Draenei to Eversong Woods at about level 20 back in Burning Crusade (when I started) to tame a red one. Still have that cat to this very day.
campaigner.bsky.social
The Arathi Lynx model is being put to good use without removing the Eversong Lynx model, and that's a huge positive. Eversong cats definitely aren't lynxes, but that's probably just the name they got for the sake of making them sound different (not like the colors did that already!)

There is a single rare on the alpha database (at least right now) that's flagged tameable, but does not have a family. None of the other whiptails have a family, but also show as tameable. This is very likely the needed proof that grimlynxes are whiptails, though this could change at any point.
campaigner.bsky.social
Just saying this; if you see hunters with unusual pets in World of Warcraft, the methods of taming those unusual pets have been fixed by the time you see them.

Wain posted this on Petopia a few days ago, and the hype is real. I've been pushing hard for tameable plant hydras (ever since WoD!), and it's finally coming true. There's a lot of fun plant monsters you can (hopefully) tame once everything goes live.

That bird is a Carrion Bird, I believe!

Now that I'm looking at it after posting, "protest" might have been the wrong term. Oh well.

Roothorns and Sporehawks, let's go!
campaigner.bsky.social
Yes these doodles are bad. This is intentional because I am lazy and did not want to actually draw them in detail or use screenshots from a model viewer. Plus, bad doodles are more charming.

#WorldofWarcraft
As of the current alpha build (63534), the NPC on the left is generally called Chloroceros, and the one on the right is generally called Sporebat. In older times, they'd have fun names like Roothorn and Sporehawk. I will peacefully protest (aka pray) for these names to be adopted.

I see a lot of people complaining about the Horde neighborhood. Those people are so very blind. I'd kill to have beachfront property without the risk of tsunamis, erosion, and beachbobs!
campaigner.bsky.social
We can see one of these "grimlynx" in the deep dive, sitting next to some Haranir at one point. Definitely a regular animal, especially since the druid form is WAY different. It's safe to say that, at least right now, it's likely a normal whiptail. Could change, of course.

"Their exotic ability is a stun"
Slow, not a stun :P

And yes, that's crazy useful. Teleporting to a target, slowing them for second, AND providing Mortal Wounds? That's a scary combo.
campaigner.bsky.social
I would love to see if Beast Lore can be cast on Peha. Gotta know if it's actually a rodent or not. This is probably too far from the playable area right now, right?
campaigner.bsky.social
Good news; there's a lot of flagged Capybaras on Wowhead as of today. They're all rodents, so here's hoping!
