I would assume their definition is “AI that pisses off advertisers”, which would basically just be the AI trailers for fake movies since it’s the only thing they’ve been doing anything about.

I’d really like them to provide actual examples of what they were using it for, because while I agree that including it in the concept phase would impact the final result, I can see it being useful to generate very rough ideas of what you’re aiming for. Maybe that can still stifle artists though.

Was having a back and forth online with some folks arguing that AI is just a tool, like an excavator, that is simply making the job easier and we just hate progress. You can’t compare automation of digging holes to the arts, but they still think we’re just angry at AI because it’s taking jobs.

I always end up having the same discussion about EVs. People have a tendency to just assume shifting toward more EVs means gas cars can’t exist. We can have both, and we clearly don’t ALL need gas cars to make our commutes.

I want to argue this, but my brother in law watches fox and also keeps smoothing on, and we’re not even american. No other proof or studies needed, obviously.

Warrior has felt fine to me so far, though I’m only lvl ~8. As soon as I got decent armor and a bit of health regen, I was able to start face tanking a bit more. Still gotta be careful, but don’t really think it’s as bad as they’re claiming.
