Canada’s economy is not doing well. However, neither is the US economy! It is more important than ever for Canadians to buy local, travel domestically and support our trading partners, NOT the US.

🇨🇦 Canadians must stick together and demand that our government try to find solutions that DO NOT involve the US. Personally, I like the US, but we should not be treated as badly as we are being treated. It’s time to cut out ties with the US. Go Canada!!! 🇨🇦

Canada has been acting like the 51st state for years. Too much reliance on the States. Let’s support Canadian companies and tourism and avoid the States as much as possible. It’s time for Canada to find its way without the US.

Dump Truck Don’s tariffs are causing a lot of issues around the world. World economies were upset by COVID, then Russia’s war on Ukraine and now Trump’s tariffs. Cancelling flights to the US may seem like a bad thing, but I see a lot of positives. The cost of flights within Canada should decrease, as well as those overseas. And Canadians will spend more in Canada on Canadian products and services! Let me know if you disagree.

What exactly is Trump trying to accomplish? He’s only alienating allies of the US. Countries that stand alone are not stronger than countries that work together.

Countries, including Canada, need to start standing up against Trump. His “negotiation” tactic is so low, and other countries are falling for it. Bullying isn’t a negotiation tactic! Bullying is what people do when they have no integrity or self worth. Stop the so-called negotiations! It’s pathetic!

Buying cars in Canada is a nightmare! lol 😂 First, you have to go to a dealer that isn’t American. Second, you have to buy a car that isn’t American. However, car dealers are often Canadian owned and the cars are sometimes made or partly made in Canada. Such difficult dilemmas.

I just took a trip, not to the US, of course, but to Japan! And Japanese people have the same sentiment as the majority of Canadian’s do. No one truly understands the purpose of Trump’s tariffs or why he is so aggressive towards other nations. They all feel that it will hurt the US, though.

Many people argue that Europe already has established trade partners and therefore can’t trade more with Canada. I disagree! Canada has a lot of high-grade building materials and natural resources. It’s all about marketing! We have what they need! 🇨🇦 ❤️
