I think what Carney realized is that Trump is not a bully, who can be cowed with a punch to the face, but a tyrant who seethes at every perceived humiliation and plots revenge obsessively.

Yeah, I was playing out a few scenarios and realized this could go south pretty easily. Given Alberta, Quebec, and the Cons, I wonder if we have the collective solidarity to go through some real hard times to secure our independence.
