Name change to incorporate more than authoring my cancer book. I’m starting online and local support groups for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers and have developed a caregiver app. So to envelope all of, I switched my name. Thank you for following, now let’s get back to my uplifting posts!
You don’t have to “earn” rest after cancer. Your body already paid the cost. Rest is recovery, not weakness. One small thing today: water, protein, sunlight, or a 10-minute stretch. #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS #cancercoachUSA

If you’re NED, it’s normal to feel weirdly unsteady. Treatment ends. The adrenaline drops. Life doesn’t snap back. Start small: hydrate, eat something steady, take a short walk, and pick one “today” goal. #cansky #oncosky #cancer #cancercoachusa #cancerBS

If sleep is messy, you are not failing. Try one small anchor: same wake time or a calm wind-down. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Grief can show up even in recovery. You can miss the old you and still be grateful to be here. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

You are allowed to protect your energy. No can be a complete sentence, especially in January. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Movement does not have to be intense to help. A 5-minute stretch or walk is still movement. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Food after treatment can be complicated. Aim for "good enough" nourishment, not perfect eating. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Food fear is exhausting. If sugar questions keep you stuck, remember: your overall pattern matters more than any single bite. Notice hidden sugars (drinks), pair sweets with protein/fiber, and keep joy on the menu. Balance beats fear. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cancerBS #oncosky #cansky #cancer

Hydration is basic, but it matters. If water is hard, try tea, broth, or flavored water. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Hydration is unglamorous but foundational. If plain water is hard, make it easier: citrus, cucumber, mint, sparkling, straw, small sips, routine cues (before meals/meds). Goal: more than yesterday. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cancerBS #oncosky #cansky #cancer

Scanxiety is real. Name it, breathe through it, and plan something kind right after the appointment. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cansky #oncosky #cancerBS

Inflammation talk can feel vague. Keep it practical: make one swap today, not ten. Water with citrus, a protein + fiber snack, and a “half veggies” plate (cooked counts). Support over perfection. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cancerBS #oncosky #cansky #cancer

Rebuilding after cancer isn’t about a perfect diet. It’s about consistent nourishment: water first, protein in one meal, and one colorful plant you actually enjoy. One small choice, repeated, rebuilds trust. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cancerBS #oncosky #cansky #cancer

New year. New chapter. Same you — but wiser, softer, stronger, more honest, and more aligned with the life you’re building. You don’t need a reinvention. You need consistency in the direction that feels most like home to you. This year is yours.

Food after treatment can feel complicated. If your appetite is low or your stomach is unpredictable, aim for “small and steady” instead of “perfect.” Try a mini plate: protein + soft carb + easy fruit or veg. A few bites now is still progress. #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #cancerBS #oncosky #cansky #cancer

You don’t need resolutions — you need intention. Ask yourself: “What do I want to feel more of next year?” Let that answer guide your habits, boundaries, and relationships. Choose alignment, not pressure.
