Wish I could share this with everyone, been making this since I was a kid. Started learning to cook pretty young, been cooking something like 30 years, lil over. Mom taught me this one and pirogi early on. Hit me up if anyone wants me to share the recipe.

It’s really hard to know when to go to the doctor when A) your mom doesn’t trust “modern medicine” so never got you a family doctor as a kid after moving to a new city, & B) most of the times you did try to get hep on your own you were told repeatedly to stop exaggerating & ignored by doctors.

Seriously, tell your friends about their weird behaviours, make sure they understand that something isn’t right & they should go see a doctor. If people had told me years ago, maybe I would’ve gotten this diagnosis sooner, instead of when it’s finally a problem for an employer to send me to ER for.

…& suddenly a bunch of people are saying “yeah, I remember seeing that happen years ago!” Like why didn’t you tell me about it? Why am I just finding out now after mentioning someone else had to stop me from eating burning weed that people had to do that several times like a DECADE ago??

I don’t know how long *I* wrote the memory gaps off as “smoking too much weed.” But it explains why I have 0 memory of certain things, it explains why I blink & now 40 minutes have passed somehow & I don’t even remember what I was doing originally. There aren’t words for bringing up the seizures…

My seizures were happening for I don’t even know long before one happened in a way that someone actually noticed as a problem and made me go to the hospital over. I don’t know how many people wrote off my brain reboots and me trying to eat a joint I’m smoking & such as “smokes too much weed.”

Ever been told “I don’t know how you’ve been functioning, you should already be dead” by a nurse? My PCOS wasn’t taken seriously til I almost died. Even my mom, “it’ll even out when you have kids.” Well, between PCOS & Endo, I kinda can’t, so thanks for the parental negligence. 👍🏻
