1) I was already paying for 25% of my tution so I should have just done it anyway.
2) I should have put together a PowerPoint (I know “slide deck, showing my age here) on how big of an industry “fashion” is to get them on board.

That’s awesome! What a fun time that must have been. When I was at TCU I was a fashion minor and I could have doubled marketing and fashion but it would have added an extra year and my parents flat out told me “fashion isn’t a major” and I would have had to pay for it.

And if I could go back to my 13yo self I’d say:
- fashion is currently a 1 T+ industry, absolutely a career
- Take your finance profs advise and double in marketing and finance
- If you want to be “Senior Fashion Editor at Vogue” you better up your writing skills!

My guess of his guess, I think he would say you would go into the culinary arts. I very well may be wrong. That or t-shirt design.

I first had it at Del’s many, many, many years ago. Was six or so layers of cake with alternating lemon creme and lemon curd filling. Worth every GD calorie.
