I also LOVE horror and am a die hard Stephen King fan (I know). There CAN be romance, just not the MAIN plot. I love political/courtly intrigue in my stories. I don’t mind if the plot is a little meandering if the prose is good. If there are monsters and spooky weirdness, even better!
