But yeah those inspos make up half the plot and more the aesthetics. Tbh I love the superhero genre in general, it's a cool opportunity for character studies but I feel it's def gotten watered down over the years 🫠
But as artists we rise and grind when it comes to making media we wanna see 💪

Admittedly, the way people with powers are normalized is along a similar vein of BNHA, bc superhero fans got a similar braincell XD

Spiderman handles the slow beats really well by the foundation of what kind of superhero Peter is, someone local. It's something I like about the playstation iterations of the story- it's grounded in spite of the cataclysmic threats in it's universe.

Like there's the big name threats of ppl with dangerous abilities but also the depth those comics show ppl using their powers for mundane things are really fascinating too. JoJo's does a rly cool thing with making tension out of an otherwise normal moment (I'm thinking of DIU's arc with Tonio)
