There is a huge amount of new information. These are case reports just this year of cannabis being associated with liver cancer remission with no other treatments.

There is a huge amount of new information. These are case reports just this year of cannabis being associated with liver cancer remission with no other treatments.

I'd love to learn more about those trials! That is exactly what is needed to prove cannabis can fight cancer and seemingly prevent its return.

Cannabis is far, far safer than almost literally any pharmaceutical. They are still needed but cannabis needs to be more utilized.

It works in humans too. More people need to learn how strong the evidence is!

It is indeed a complicated and disturbing study, but it certainly doesn't seem like cannabis alone could be responsible for such a high increase in mortality. It would've shown up before if the rate was really this high.

The study doesn't make a direct claim that cannabis can treat cancer, just that the sentiment of existing research points more towards anticancer effects than procancer effects. It's not the end-all be-all by any means, but is another pillar of support in combination with other evidence.

The reality is that cannabis can help cancer patients and fight cancer in at least some cases. My resource at FreeCannabisCancerBook.com has over 200 cases and analyzes dozens of preclinical studies. Many of the cases are published in PubMed journals. Cannabis is NOT a cure, but can work for some.

I think people are misconstruing what this study on its own is saying/claiming. Ultimately, the sentiment of most studies on cannabis and cancer is positive. Combined with conventional meta-analyses, clinical trials, case reports, and preclinical evidence, it is just another supporting piece.

That's a truly amazing result! It is tragic that so many people don't take experiences like yours seriously. If they did, so many other patients could be saved so quickly.
