Just imagine if Americans were as passionate about children not being slaughtered in schools by semi-automatic weapons as they are about a restaurant logo.

I hope everyone (incl. the Palestine Action Group organisers) will be surprised by the crowd numbers attending the #MarchForHumanity #SaveGaza March tomorrow. I hope the numbers attending will be so huge it terrifies Albo into real action. #auspol #SanctionIsrael #IsraeliWarCrimes #GazaGenocide

Can someone explain to me why the US didn't bomb North Korea, Israel, Pakistan or India when they were on the verge of developing nuclear weapons. Explain it to me like I'm six.

So Trump bailing early from G7 meant he felt the mood in the room and wanted to get out of there. Or things in the Middle East are about to get real scary.

Australian Story unquestionably is the best thing on TV. Week after week. Challenging, informative, inspirational.
Well done again ABC.

When I moved to New York in 1978 the small island I lived on had a unique vacuum garbage system call the AVAC attached to every building. Just drop your trash down the shoot and it would be sucked up to a central repository, compacted and trucked away. It's now 2025!
The idea that New York City is finally putting its trash in cans, long after most urban civilizations have done so, has led to a fair amount of ridicule. But it is a significant change in a city where piles of trash bags have clogged sidewalks for decades. trib.al/UgFE4pJ

I often find those adept at comedy are the keenest and wisest obsevers. They remove the filters. They may play it straight, or they may not. George Carlin, Billy Connelly, Ricky Gervais. Wendy is up there.
Just for O.S. friends - the Australian Prime Minister does NOT have the power to pardon anyone
This power is reserved for the Crown - for a miscarriage of justice. AND the Royal prerogative of mercy does not overturn a conviction.
Your system of government is cooked
You might want to look at that

My bookcase means a lot to me. Places I have been. Books I have read. Magazines I love. Pics that are my history. Lanyards from every event have attended. Hats I love. (Sorry, loved hats are skanky). Everyone should have a bookcase.

Read the book Sherpa. These are the most incredible selfless and heroic people. Most times fulfilling dreams of westerners with little concept of their culture.
