I’m not sure to what degree I feel abdl is “better” with age, but it’s an interesting question, and I’m definitely way more comfortable and confident being abdl now that I’m in my early to mid 40s.

Haha, you won’t lose this follower! It still seems pretty new to me, though I suppose it’s closer age-wise to my wagon than a new car. My partner and I drive a Crosstrek as our daily, but I take my ‘85 wagon out whenever the weather is nice, and it’s made a few car show appearances.

I was in a now closed queer run bookstore in Portland a while back, and came across a couple magazine files of abdl mailings from the late 80s and early 90s. Really wish I’d picked them up. Not great quality content, but interesting for being pre-internet abdl.

Haha, I lusted after the Df for a long time, and loved the idea of being able to swap lenses directly between it and my FM2. Definitely didn’t need it, and definitely couldn’t justify the cost. Now the Df seems retro on its own. 😅

Nice! I ordered a bag last night. Pretty sure I’ll never get anywhere near that capacity unless I go swimming in it, but the idea is entertaining!

I keep scissors handy for that. 😅 I loved Dry 24/7s, but the extra plastic became too much, and I discovered they fit much better with a bit of light trimming.
