They did have other menu options, but I was there with a vegan buddy & guilted myself into the vegetarian entry.
IIRC they just had standard UK drinks, but also a house "Maple Leaf Lager" or some such. I asked if it was any good, and the staff said "not really," so I just had a Moretti or something

An obnoxiously Canadian-themed pub, at least as far as having flags everywhere. £7.50 for the poutine, £7.50 for a pint; probably didn't need to indulge in the latter. FISH & CHIPS (Penarth, GLA): From "Pier Cafe" on Penarth Pier. I was contemplating pivoting #POUTINEWATCH to #Fish&ChipsWatch but in the end, my heart wasn't in it. Fish: ok; chips: me; red sauce that may not even have been ketchup (I don't understand British whimsy tbh): weird and not great. 4/10.
