Where are the Schools of journalism? I’ve yet to see anyone publish a statement reminding editors of their responsibility. Are they supportive of the way news is being communicated currently or do they teach a different approach?

Actual experts/pollsters exist who can educate/inform the viewers of cable news. But the purpose of cable news is no longer to inform but to entertain. Create outrage/controversy by pitting entertainers/celebrities/unabashed partisans against actual experts. It’s Feelings vs Facts entertainment.

Joe Rogan isn't a politics podcaster. He talks about all sorts of topics and occasionally brings politics into it. The closest thing the left had to Joe Rogan was Howard Stern. Every time Dems try to promote a politician as the Joe Rogan of the left reinforces how much they don't get it.

The impact on very small businesses will be devastating. Corps can work on rerouting shipments. A mom that had a niche idea that can only be made in China cant withstand months of higher import fees. They'll be out of business in less than 2 months. I hope someone keeps track.

In his 1st administration, Ivanka was the one who would talk him off the ledge. He doesnt trust his advisors. There is no moderating force this time around.

People are upset with Trump/Musk and the chaos but saying people are responding to Dems message is an overreach. The Dems still need to put forward an argument for why people should believe in the party.

They just don't get that the battles arent about policy, the battles are all about messaging. They could've voted the same way but turned it into a messaging war that they could have won. Instead, Dems look feckless and Repubs get to be evil without consequence
