While I'm lucky in that my salary has increased double during this past decade; I worked hard to get that increase. But have entered an era where I can't afford mid-rent apts because they've decided rtp is great area to raise housing costs 150-350%, while wages have remained the same from decade ago

Please raleigh, that apt complex I rented from 10 years ago that has not seen one renovation or upgrade in those same 10 years is not worth the $1400mo you're charging now from the $650mo from 10 years ago.

I react that way too, until it gets to "hate everything" then it's done for. It's beyond a Who Cares and goes straight to No One Cares Including Me, and then to a psychosomatic withholding, which negates previous cares or caresnot. And then my brain just keeps going and not my hands.
