then you just don't understand what the point of a good voting method is. The point is to get the highest expected utility. The highest satisfaction with election results in the ultimate policy that creates. whether that means supporting Hamas in your case, or opposing Hamas in mine.

it does not matter one iota what a system is "designed" to do. we can objectively measure how accurately a voting method selects the candidate that represents the preferences of the electorate. Approval voting is objectively good at this. you have no idea what you're talking about.

no I am talking about the US. I am an American and I co-founded one of the leading electoral reform organizations and I have been a top expert in this field since 2006. there is no use of instant runoff voting in Georgia.
