Well that’s another bit of safety training I just found out they never bothered to give me in grad school!

(I can’t say I’m entirely surprised to find another way we were treated as disposable, my grad school did not care at all about its grad students. I’m amazed we had no major incidents.)

Actually what does the rule on perpetuities say if someone vanishes but can’t be confirmed dead?

I want to know what happens if the character in question dies and comes back! Do things count from their first death? Last death? Does the manner of resurrection matter, like if it’s time travel so they’re never truly dead it doesn’t count? Can you even count someone as dead if they might come back?

I forget which book I read that pointed out that the free market does not incentivize the highest level of performance, it merely forces companies to reduce their incompetence just enough to not go bankrupt. And as we see around us every day that still allows for a staggering level of incompetence!
