Do you have much awareness of the Christmas music in the UK that started fairly much with the early 70s Glam Rock era? So songs like Merry Xmas Everybody (Slade), I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day (Wizzard), Lonely This Christmas (Mud), Stop the Cavalry (Jona Lewie) and more....

I think it might be more the timbre of one or both their voices, sort of reminiscent of Mickey Dolenz on the stronger phrases in songs like Stepping Stone or others. Not a specific song.....

I've never heard this song and I love it, so very of its time. There's something about it that's reminding me of a Monkees song.....can't put my finger on it right now....
