ちなみに、Mastodonなどリモートサーバは、アバターアイコンやヘッダー画像、過去の投稿について、それぞれのサーバでキャッシュを保持して、それを表示します。

リモートサーバでは、全ての画像がみえないのではなく、新しく投稿された、更新された画像だけが見えなくなっています。

また、ブラウザやクライアントアプリにもキャッシュがあり、そこに保持されているものは表示されます。

mstdn.jpの画像不具合、観測されている状態、考えられることとしては、

・アップロードできる
・ダウンロード（表示）できない

・media.mstdn.jpのIPアドレスがDNSから消えている
・mediaのネームサーバはAWS
・サーバ本体はCloudflare
・CDNはCloudFront（推定）
・保存先はS3（推定）

誰もメディア配信用のサーバにアクセスできないので、mstdn.jpの利用者は、ローカルに誰かが投稿した画像も、連合しているリモートサーバからの画像も、見ることができません。
