A very lovely prerelease last night, got to use these gorgeous and nearly perfect unlimited and fifth edition lands from the store’s basic land box. Felt appropriate considering how back to Magic it felt at with everyone there. Biggest prerelease since the shop moved a couple years ago.

Ran a little Red/White aggro deck at the FF prerelease Friday night. Did pretty darn well, even in the second round where I usually get rocked. Sadly, Firion didn’t do much: however Minwu and Adventurer’s Airship both performed admirably. Haste Magic into a land drop is chef’s kiss.

My two adds to the family potluck.. Black Garlic mashed Potatoes and a Brussels sprouts dish with balsamic baked apples, rosemary Marcona almonds, and craisins. Fblthp makes for an excellent Sous chef.

We are all “mised” out for the holiday pot luck, roasted and black garlic mashed potatoes, and a broccoli/Brussels dish with a little bit of everything.

It’s wood fired pizza season at work, and I pretty much work it by myself. Prep for a couple days and then work the station on the weekend. A lovely little world to be in when I’m feeling like I need to be in my head to understand what I can do in the future to help folks I care about.

It’s been weird and scary since I got home from Vegas. I was so overwhelmed by all the negativity, the brazenness of total losers with no hearts. Thank goodness for the MTG community, truly full of the best folks. As I parse out my next moves, I’ve been falling back into my work(see below..)
