I don’t care what you feel. You were part of a cabal of Democrats we swept back into power specifically to prevent this from happening. More than a million dead Americans and you and your party did nothing. You blew the one chance we had to prevent this. He should have been locked up on day one.

Not good enough. DHS/ICE were xenophobic responses to 9/11. They‘ve only gotten worse from there. CBP was placed under DHS and is now one of DHS’ most abusive organizations.
These organizations must be abolished from the face of earth, as forever dishonored as Lt Calley of My Lai.

I have yet to see that anywhere close to the scale necessary to restore your freedom though. You are not going to unseat a dictator without disrupting him or without pain.

I find myself asking if this is even my fight anymore. I know it is, but what I am not willing to be is a martyr. Ours is a culture that satisfied itself with the theatrics of thanking us for our service instead of asking what we were doing, why, or where. Much less correcting any of it. 6/

We must also accept that when we allowed him to ascend back into power, we forfeited the luxury of our insularity. It is no longer just about us. No longer about waiting until the next election to fix our politics. It is now regime change or millions die. We are out of time.
I support the No Kings & anti-ice demonstrations but these protests are inherently defensive in their rhetoric while our electeds continue to speak in terms of policy outcomes. If we are going to win this fight, we must attack normalcy bias & begin making the case that we are no longer free.
