Two people are dead. “Someone should do something” is not a plan. In times like these, leadership requires courage, imagination, and empathy, not politics as usual.

If Rep. Lawler wants to show real leadership, the path is clear: reintroduce the 2024 bill, work with colleagues to update it with current lessons, and then fight for its passage.

Last week, the House passed a funding bill for DHS with no meaningful oversight or restrictions. The Senate must not pass this bill!

It’s time to act for real accountability for an agency that has lost the trust of the American people.

What we’re seeing in Minnesota is un-American and un-democratic. It’s an assault not only on the good people of that state, it is an assault on all of us and our American values.

This has to stop. There was no unrest until the DHS went to Minneapolis. They cannot keep asking us to disregard what we see and believe their lies.

It’s families choosing between rent and prescriptions.
It’s seniors worrying about coverage.
It’s workers paying more for less.

Calling it “bullshit” after supporting it doesn’t make you brave. It makes it political theater.

NY-17 deserves leadership — not performances.

And put millions at risk of higher premiums and lost coverage.

Now that his seat in NY-17 is in danger, he’s performing outrage, not fixing the damage.

Healthcare isn’t a talking point, it’s a fundamental right.

Their story reminds us that immigrants built the foundations of this region through hard work, sacrifice, and courage

As a fellow Air Force veteran, it was especially meaningful for me to commemorate his legacy. I was grateful for the opportunity to meet his daughters, his wife, and extended family members, as well as local government officials and the community who came together to honor him.
