Here in Wales we dream of three clear nights.

On my walks I have rescued five sheep from hedges or being "rigwelted". None of them showed any gratitude.

Skies here in South Wales are very clear but the wind would blow over a telescope and the wind chill is about -5 C.

It's also my home screen.

I recently bought a solar scope. No sun for the next few months, I expect.

I'm still in therapy after your Anne Widdecombe and bang bus reference.

Same here. I was restricted to using a Seestar but even that had condensation problems, not to mention the neighbours Xmas lights. Got some images and now heading for a warm bed.

Saw a dozen or so at a Stargazing event at Dyffryn Gardens on Friday night. Then I saw quite a few more when I got home.
Also saw several at about 4am Saturday morning. All in all a good year.
