My take on the Zaku II
I initially started this as a much wider different mech but my hand just felt compelled to draw a Zaku. You can say this is also Char's Zaku but since it's just a sketch you can use your imagination on what color it is, maybe purple or even yellow, the world is in your hands!

So I have a really bad habit of starting work on a drawing and then having my brain highjack my attention to another idea opening a new file for a drawing, and another, and another, and so on and so forth. So here's a small collection of some of the ideas/gestures that came to mind.

Really warmed up to the Turn-A's design so here's a really rough and mismatched proportioned sketch of the mech. From the research I saw regarding the model kits and apparently the moonlight butterfly wings are a bit difficult to come by, which is the major selling point of a kit to me but eh.

I'm not immune to the Donut Steels.
But this was fun to brainstorm on. Mercy was the first one I drew given the amount of sketch work on her, the thought was to maker her an antithesis to Amy. She is also a quill back Hog. The dragonfly was just a fun to mix both dragon qualities with the bug.

I'm not usually one for memes but every once in a while there'll be ones that I click with, this is one that I like but also is a very clear pointed sign for me to practice a bit more and bust out the old tools and give proper study to again because y'know, this angle got hands.

Gonna try to make an effort to draw some form of mech on mondays to try and up my robot game. Mecha Mondays if you will, but really I want to get better at the shape language used in mechs. For this one I wanted to channel the nu-gundam fence bits to it's arms, almost fingers grasping the robot

Also one more bit about Turn-A that I didn't know about but is a neat piece of info. I was initially not crazy about the designs of the Mobile suits but they grew on me. I didn't know that they were designed by Syd Mead. He also did concept artwork for Bladerunner and tron. Neat fact, love his art.

Saw Tron: Ares the other day and it was alright, no where near as bad as folks were saying but not a knock out either. If I can give a bit of grace this is probably Jared Leto's best role in years but still just serviceable. Stellar art direction and soundtrack just a bit hokey and standard story.

i've been drawing a lot a lot but most of it has been severely half baked pinup/horny stuff so I decided to practice a punch gesture to get out of that groove a bit. Just need some meat to balance out the candy y'know?

Was thinking of a few artists that I was keyed into from back in the hay day of deviantart and I hope liquidxlead is doing well, I really enjoyed his stylistic hand to his art he had. I know he hung up the hat on art as career, but I hope he's still making stuff he likes.

Just built a High Grade Sazabi so it's on my brain a bit. I'm gonna see if the place i go to has a Master Grade Ver. Ka or Real grade. Maybe even see if they have the Nu Gundam too but i'm all about the Red Comet adjacent suits

No, I am, exclusively for Rouge the Bat and maybe Crystal star fox. As far as cartoon critter crushes this one still rings true, I am not immune to cartoon buxom.
