One bad season in 2023 and Cubs fans think he’s a bad pick up. He was right in line with his career averages last season, which would put him in line as a solid 4 or 5 starter in the rotation. If people think this is a bad signing, I would like to remind everyone about the terrible Darvish contract.
The Cubs are currently in negotiations with Lance Lynn on a one-year major-league contract, per @bnightengale.bsky.social.

Can someone explain to me how a grandchild is an inconvenience? Is it the grandchild that’s a real inconvenience or is it the complete selfishness and incompetence of the grandparents? If you don’t want to be grandparents then just stay the fuck away.

Not to brag or anything but the Cubs have yet to lose a game since I became a dad. It has nothing to do with anything besides I love seeing them win with my son.

Maybe they should announce how they treat their employees, like refusing Dr notes and writing them up for helping sick family members. Or even say how they treat location partners by giving them a priority tag and ignoring some locations for several days because they’re not considered important.

I’m not very active here but I would like everyone to meet the most important person in the world to me now, Cayden. Been a rough start to parenthood but thankfully he’s perfectly healthy and we couldn’t have asked for a better man than this guy to call our son.
