“Brasyl” from 2007 (which won the BSFA Award that same year) would presumably, along with “River of Gods” and “The Derwish House”, be the conclusion of his novels set in the near future, where he turns to new worlds beyond Anglo-American dominance (as he did with Chaga in the 90s)
