I believe it was the Rankin-Bass The Hobbit. I can’t remember if I saw it on TV or VHS. It was in the mid 1980s. In the early ‘90s I listened to LOTR on cassette tapes.

That's pretty much the direction I've been taking. I made the decision after reading Kyle Hill's Thread about being in a bubble. Time to look away. Time to look outward. Less social media and more books. More fresh air and sunlight.

That fight was brutal! Bloody but it ended positively. The Taylor vs Serrano fight was brutal, too. A little less blood but more intense. The judges made some bad calls. Lots of unhappy people in the end.
