I used to podcast. I sometimes write. I still nap.
I think the bubble is the pablum that these companies are building up trying to sell the slop aspect, so they can be looked at as too big to be ignored. The real AI is the stuff we’d never see. It could be good, but since it was built on theft, I just want nothing to do with it.

We just got to the MountPort musical episode and were completely blown away (by a show that regularly blows us away).

You and the team really are doing amazing stuff, Sam.

Also, I have to acknowledge that "whirling shit-gibbons" sounds distinctly like a @chuckwendig.bsky.social term. And since I've read and enjoyed Chuck's work for over a decade, I'm saying up front that I learned it from watching him.

Very early in our relationship, my girlfriend (now wife) stole all of my Letters to Cleo CDs from me. We bonded by listening to them all the time over the years.

I do this a lot. My eyes pretty much require me to read Ebooks, but I can't help but deck out my home with physical books anyways. I also often buy and send books to friends as well.

Good life advice: Get yourself a group of friends who randomly sends books to one another.

New remake of "The Fugitive."

Happy Birthday, Katie!

(LiveJournal sent me a reminder, can you believe it?)

You would be a hard friend to lose, I don't ever want to let that happen.

I really enjoyed reading this in my email today, Leonie. And I'm always excited for more of your writing.
