I grew up with Mr Blobby (this was the first single I owned) and so he’s just part of the mental furniture but sometimes I think about how he had no backstory, no language, no tv show, he just turned up and caused chaos and he was almost as popular as the royal family

Presumably a nominal fee, he’s out of contract so it’s neither here nor there for us if he stayed and didn’t play

As someone who grew up near enough to Wales I was excited to watch this as a teenager and it ended up being maybe my first exposure to people debasing themselves for a bit of money, jackass had a slither of soul, this was just sad

Given he has had to try and play the Havertz type Swiss Army knife role that Arteta wants from a forward that’s about where I’d expect, unfortunately he is not as good at it as Havertz

Ah, ha, it wasn’t. I know this through an artist friend who met him, he is “a bit of a knob” I’m told. It’s not an uncommon practice with big name artists though, Damien Hirst does the same thing, which I think has been reported on quite a bit

It’s not the massive attack guy, but the actual Banksy doesn’t actually make his own stuff anymore, has a team of people churning stencils out in a factory and he just walks in and picks a few out
