I do. From my experience, surviving English-speaking Kancolle fans that actually talk about the characters and adaptations (rather than just number-crunching the game) tend to be 40+ guys seemingly hiding on ancient torrent forums

Kancolle has so many fun little homages to trivia about IRL ships in general. Like how Tenryuu has an eyepatch because the IRL Tenryuu had a searchlight blown off iirc. Or Kamoi wearing Ainu clothes. I'll always appreciate it for that.
